My experience: As an Ex-pat looking at relocating to Turkey with my wife and dogs, the initial steps were rather daunting as we were extremely concerned after reading reviews on local forums about people being taken advantage of financially or falling foul of local laws due to the language barrier. Prior to visiting the region, I had emailed numerous agents asking for viewings and I can honestly say with some the experience was not pleasant o9r supportive, to the extent that some even tried to add hidden items into potential contracts to boost their commission, re-enforcing the horror stories we had read on the forums. We were extremely fortunate that after speaking with locals they advised approaching Hakan Homes as they would be able to help. The office is extremely easy to find and before we even entered, the friendliest English lady “Diane” came out to greet us enquiring if she could help. This immediately put us at ease, as she had been through the same relocation process herself. We were introduced to Hakan, whose English is extremely good and within 24hrs we were viewing properties that met our requirements. We visited the area on numerous occasions over a 12 month period, Hakan and Diane never lost patience with us, assisting with every element of the move, even assisting with matters beyond the real estate and continue to do so to this day. The experience from start to finish was extremely personable and informal; it is more like dealing with friends than the traditional pressured sales approach we are generally used to. We are happy to say that we now have found our perfect home in the sun. We cannot thank Hakan and Diane enough, if anyone is considering a similar move then this should be the first and only place you visit.

My experience: My husband and I have been looking online for two years, looking to retire in the Oludeniz area. On our recent visit we were introduced to Di and Hakan with Hakan Homes. They were absolujtely spectacular, showing us villa’s for two days, as well as walking us through the process for purchasing for citizenship. My husband got sick whilst on holiday and both Di and Hakan checked in on him, making sure we needed for nothing! Far beyond any estate agents we’ve dealt with anywhere in the world! We would highly recommend Hakan Homes to anyone and look forward to working with them in the future, lovely people!!
